Striding Out is looking for local businesses and social enterprises across London andMerseyside who can provide a job for a young person aged 18-24 from October onwards. 

Each organisation  will receive £3000 worth of funding per young person they employ for 6 months. Plus receive a hands-on training and coaching package to support the employer and young person during this time period.

We are currently working with Universities across the UK to equip young people with the entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and attributes to secure or create a job!

Our workshops help students to explore their skills and interests, understand how to research the marketplace, present themselves and their ambitions effectively, and help them network with the people they want to know.

We have selected TEN young dynamic individuals who are ready to take the LEAP....

...to turn their business Idea into reality

Over the next SIX months they will be put through an intensive package of support with advice from leading experts, coaches and mentors. 

The competition will help the participants to complete their business plan and develop their entrepreneurial skills to succeed in business. Only one winner will receive the prize of £500.

Now at 18, I want to continue my entrepreneurial ambitions with social impacts, as well as incorporating my passion for languages and culture, through my newly found venture-Cathay Cultural Exchange.
