Experience a short workshop about advanced listening skills at this breakfast meeting. The coaching will involve a half hour workshop exploring the three levels of listening. Do you listen at level one, two or three? What would work best with your colleagues?

Professional Coaching Skills - Training Programme
Striding Out believes coaching is a powerful tool for inspiring, supporting and empowering others, and we want to share these skills with you.

Learn key mentoring and coaching skills

Empower and support your peers and clients

During the four day training course you will receive training in the following areas:-
-
Understanding good practice in workplace coaching
-
Assessing different learning styles
-
A range of coaching tools and techniques
-
Measuring effectiveness of coaching in the workplace
-
Undertaking an extended period of supervised coaching in the workplace
The training course will take place on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of September.
The training will be complemented with 4 x supervision one to one sessions.
Participate in this training if you are:-

Wanting to be an effective manager or leader
-
Providing mentoring or coaching to others as part of a volunteer or work role
-
Enhancing your CV to progress up the career ladder
-
Passionate about empowering and inspiring others around you.
To participate in this programme, you will need to be a practicing team leader or manager of people. If you are not currently working, we can help you to arrange a suitable volunteer or work related project for you to practice and develop your coaching skills.
The Cost
The cost of the course is £650, which includes all of the training, supervision and qualification costs. We may beable to access funding to cover these costs so please do register if you are interested in attending and we can talk to you about the funding and eligibility criteria.

Fiona Monks, Certified Striding Out Coach, has extensive knowledge and experience in empowering professionals to use coaching as a successful tool to increase productivity and value within their teams.
Before becoming a coach, she had a professional career in recruitment for T-Mobile and Capita Resourcing, in charge of: sourcing, selection, interviewing, assessment centre and skills training design and delivery.
She was responsible for managing and coaching a team of trainers to deliver high quality training and coaching support to employees throughout the territory.
Fiona, was trained at the Coaches Training Institute and has also completed training at the Capita Assessor Academy, Leaps and Bounds Train the Trainer - Accelerated Learning for Trainers and Mary Gober - Psychology and Language of Customer Service.
Entry fee for the evening is £15.10 (inc VAT and booking fee) if you book before 17th September 2010 or £18.72 (inc VAT and booking fee) if you book after this date.
