ASPIRING TO LEAD: FUTURE YOUTH LEADERSHIP When it comes to work 64% of young people believe they are prevented from becoming leaders in their organisation. A survey carried out by YouGov suggested they are reaching a glass ceiling. Just under half of young workers surveyed said they had tried to take a lead in making a positive change in their local community, school, college or work. This workshop targeted at young leaders, employers, managers, and youth leaders will discuss findings of the ILM report Creating Future Leaders and identify how individuals can make a difference. Key note presenter David Pardey, Head of Research and Development at the Institute of Leadership and Development who will share findings of the report to set the scene for developing action.
