Striding Out provides an innovative  range of personal and professional development programmes for young people, professionals and entrepreneurs. We focus on developing an individual's skills and confidence in their own abilities as well as professional acumen. We encourage interaction and participation by using coaching tools and techniques within the training environment.

This approach engages clients directly in the learning process and we allow time for them to apply new knowledge to their own situation. We want them to leave the training with their own personal plan of action. 

Our coaches and trainers are located across the UK and we are keen to work with businesses, business support agencies, educational institutes, youth groups etc. to add value to your current service offer.

Interactive Training Workshops

We deliver Masterclasses and Weekend Retreats on topics to empower and develop entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and social entrepreneurs. Alongside this we deliver specialist workshops in conjunction with our experts - these include Creating and Defining Your Brand, Investment Readiness, Achieve Ultimate Impact (PR and Marketing), Managing Leadership, and Growth and Franchising. We can help deliver some of your training needs and requirements. 

Empowering One to One Coaching Programmes 

Coaching can be applied to performance, leadership and strategic action planning to help an individual progress their goals and ambitions. We can work with clients across the UK and Internationally as we provide the Business Action Programmes via the telephone and email.

 

Mastermind Group Coaching Programmes

Group Coaching Circles engage the participants in a peer to peer learning, to mobilise encouragement and support amongst a team or group of professionals to brainstorm challenges, ideas, contacts and opportunties.

Track Record  

• Social Innovation at The Hub - Striding Out is working with The Hub, a global network of for social innovators, to develop a package of business support services for it's client base. Striding Out is providing coaching services to it's members.
• Big Leap Competition - Striding Out hosts a Business Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs and delivers One to One and Group Coaching as part of the Entrepreneurship Skills Competition for World Skills UK. We have partnered with the British Library Business and IP Centre and following Local Authorities -
  London - Ealing , Croydon, Bexley , Hillingdon , Hammersmith and Fulham , and Islington and Camden.
  Manchester - Oldham , Tameside , Rochdale , and Bury . Over the course of the year, ten budding entrepreneurs, are provided with a programme of interactive training sessions and one to one coaching to develop the ultimate business plan, to secure start up investment.
• Target on Community Enterprise - Striding Out has been working in with Islington Council consecutively during 2006, 2007 and 2008 to deliver a package of support to social entrepreneurs in the London Borough of Islington area. Striding Out has been responsible for delivering workshops and one to one coaching to participants on the course.
• NESTA - Striding Out has provided one to one coaching services to participants on NESTA's Creative Pioneer Programme . NESTA has also partnered with Striding Out to host networking events.
• Big Green Challenge - NESTA and UnLtd - Striding Out provided a project planning workshop and business advisory to short-listed candidates applying for the Big Green Challenge Fund.
• Enviro-Entrepreneurs School- Striding Out is working with London Remade and QED Consulting during 2007 to deliver a package of support to budding entrepreneurs working in the social and environmental industries. Striding Out is responsible for delivering workshops on social entrepreneurship, and providing one to one business coaching to participants on the School.
• National Social Enterprise Day 2006 - Striding Out  delivered a Masterclass on Social and Ethical Entrepreneurship, supported by Social Enterprise London , London Remade , Big Boost, London Business School and Natwest/Royal Bank of Scotland 
• University Talent - Striding Out has been working in partnership with West Focus , a consortium of seven Univerisities across South West London, to help engage social enterprises and small businesses in recruiting student talent. Striding Out was contracted to deliver their service in the business community, actively promoting and connecting businesses to the student workforce.
• YES: Young Enterprising Skills Consortium - YES was founded in September 2005 by Striding Out to work with different partners to run a range of enterprising programmes, events and activities, to develop a young person's interest and knowledge about self employment. The activities work with young people in education, to help them develop enterprising projects. The first YES programme has been working with Forum for the Future , Hackney Skinner School for Girls, and Futerra to develop a Sustainable Education Programme for 14-18 year olds. Plans are currently being put in place to pilot the project in 2007.
