High Performance provides Human Resource Outsourcing services to SME's.
Our services currently allow employers across the country to focus on the success, growth and development of their businesses rather than worrying how they might go about dealing with a difficult employee or what they should do when facing a Tribunal claim. Instead, they enjoy the reassurance of having HPC's expertise on hand to assist with any tricky or trivial employment matter.
Our unique selling point is that we provide an extremely professional service with a personal touch. We have an in depth understanding of our client's businesses, their needs, plans for the future and most importantly their most expensive resource - their employees!
The inspiration for the business came from my past experience. When I was at University I set up a mobile beauty business, to provide me with some extra cash whilst studying. This developed rapidly and I ended up setting up a Hair and Beauty salon in Liverpool. The running of the business was not a problem; however I couldn't believe the difficulties an Employer faces. I didn't feel that the support I wanted and could afford was available. At this point I knew there was a niche in the market to supply an affordable, professional service with a personal touch.
Once I had completed my studies I worked in some large HR departments to provide me with the skills and experience I needed to succeed on my own. In 2007 I made the leap and resigned from my HR position and set up High Performance Consultancy. My business has grown from strength to strength over the past two years. I now have a brilliant team working with me; this has enabled HPC to be the ‘HR Department' for many companies ranging from 1 employee to 500 employees.
Employers are faced with having to make tough decisions about their business and potentially cutting their workforce and making redundancies. I am proud to think that HPC has supported many employers through these difficult times and reduced their risk of compensation claims that they can ill afford. Our services also ensure that their remaining employees feel valued, are engaged and ultimately more productive.
HPC now has firm foundations in the Merseyside area, my vision for the future is to grow organically and provide a HR service to many companies across the U.K and potentially Europe.
Striding Out have been really supportive to HPC. I was at a point were I found I was very much ‘in' my business rather than ‘on' my business. I still have a very practical input in my business and will continue to do so for some time. I was concerned that I was not going to meet my ambitious goals if I continued working in this way. However, I met with my coach and she has been providing business coaching ever since. This has been very useful to me and I have remained focused and driven at all times. Striding out have also put me in touch with some excellent contacts and I have been able to offer my clients funding, that I was not aware of before. I do not feel like I am growing my business on my own anymore!
