Big Challenge fund for youth community projects
UnLtd and Changemakers have launched the second year of the Big Challenge, a youth-led project offering young people a share of £60,000 for ideas on how to bring their communities together.
The Big Challenge calls for 16-25 year olds across the UK to come up with ideas to meet the challenge for 2009, which is "Your Chance, Everybody's Change...many cultures, many individuals, how can you create unity in your community?"
The most original and effective ideas will be shortlisted by the young leaders of the programme, before a final online public vote decides the winners of the £60,000 prize.
