Quinn Simpson, Business and Youth Coach

quinnsimpson.jpgAs a Youth coach, Quinn has a strong background in working with young people, beginning with her volunteer experience from a very early age. She has spent most of her life volunteering in youth centers and working with underprivileged young people. Her experiences with Extend-a-family, Homelink and Knights Youth Centre give Quinn a certain ‘edge' dealing with the issues of today's youth.

As a Business coach, Quinn excels in the areas of leadership, strategy development, communication skills, project management and building relationships amongst business partners, teams and organisations. In addition, she specializes in building a brand and creating an online presence. She delivers coaching to budding and established entrepreneurs, and delivers enterprise workshops within higher, further and secondary education.

Quinn is also the President of The Akosia Foundation, a not for profit organization that funds and facilitates cultural projects for underprivileged children. This was built by Quinn and a few others from the ground up. As the acting President of this small organization, Quinn can be found in the accounting department, events co-ordination and general project management.

Quinn is trained by the Coaching Training Institute, Make Change Work and Coach U and is a qualifed Co-active coach and NLP Practitioner. Her passion has always been to help people, and she has an interest in human behaviour, society and culture that led her to The University of Edinburgh. She left with an MA in Sociology and Social Anthropology after writing a dissertation that examined self-help books.
