Having a dedicated Coach is an essential pillar of support for an entrepreneur on their business journey.

What is Coaching - Coaching is about partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the quality of their lives.

Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.

Your coach will work with you ‘on’ the development of the business, not ‘in’ the business.

A coach can orientate their skills to reflect the different steps of an entrepreneur’s journey, whether you are exploring an idea, planning your business, or already running your business.

Coaching and Connections - To complement your coaching programme we also host a Sounding Out Mentor Bank of experts. If you are in need of specific expertise, our coach's will look to see if they can organise you a mentoring session with someone who can impart their knowledge to help you stride over the hurdle. Our mentor's are focussed on specific skills and industries so it's not always a 100% guarentee, but we feel our connections add real value to our coaching programmes.

We charge for our coaching services but we can access funding to cover the costs of coaching for entrepreneurs who meet the eligibility criteria.

We can currently access funding to provide free business coaching to

• Young entrepreneurs aged 18-30 who are residents within Liverpool Local Authority catchment area. Support funded by Liverpool Vision.
• Entrepreneurs with 5 or more employees, available nationally, funded by Train to Gain.
