How well are doing in business? Give yourself an audit

We recommend giving yourself and your business an audit on a monthly basis, for the following reasons.

It will help you to:-

  • Identify whether you are meeting your goals and ambitions
  • Focus on what you need to do for the month ahead
  • Uncover issues that are arising that need to be addressed
  • Identify areas that are letting you down in achieving your performance targets
  • Gain confidence in areas that you are achieving successfully

We use the business audit tool with our coaching clients to uncover their pains! To identify the weaknesses and challenges they are facing. We then explore these areas and develop an action plan with the client to address these gaps, ultimately to help them and their business become stronger according to their own measures of success.

Give yourself and your business an audit NOW by printing off and using the basic business audit tool below...

If you would like help working through the business audit tool or would like assistance in developing an action plan to solve your challenges, then our business coaches are here to help. Once you have completed the scoring exercise, the next step is to reflect on what you have found. It's now time to create your monthly action plan.

Identify those scores that you are currently unsatisfied with and ask yourself why? What would help to increase your performance in this area? What is the solution to this problem? How high is it on your priority list? Will it effect your success if it's not addressed?

Identify those scores that you are currently satisfied with and ask yourself why? Is this level of satisfaction a permanent or temporary fix? Do you need to action any tasks to keep this level of satisfaction at the same level? You don't want to take your eye off the ball, just in case this area of the business drops from a 9 to 4 in one month because you didn't pay attention to it. Is your infrastructure in place to maintain this level of success?

This is a great exercise to do once a month either by yourself or with your business coach.
